WE
NEED YOUR HELP!!
I am
in the process of trying to arrange a fundraising dinner for our
brigade. This event has been booked for Thursday
September 20.
The
dinner will be at a cost of $45 per head at East Court Chinese
Restaurant in Richmond. The restaurants function room can hold up to
140 people and it would be awesome if we could fill the room it's a
big ask which is why I need your help.
What
we need is help in a few ways, either for people to come along on
the night and enjoy a meal with us or to possibly donate prizes that
we can auction off on the night !! Perhaps you might own a business
or have a friend or relative that could donate something for the
night a gift voucher or an item anything would be greatly
appreciated. Grab your friends/family or work mates and book a
table, the more people the better the night will be.
The
reason for our fundraising is that we have to raise funds to build a
new fire station, as our training room is in a severe state of
disrepair and the station building is becoming too small for the new
series trucks.
Our
brigade is one of the busiest in the state, spending many hours
carrying out hazard reductions and community education on top of the
200 – 250 incident calls we attend.
Please forward this email on to your network of friends as they
might be able to join us on the night or donate something to us.
Thanks for your time in reading this we really appreciate it.

Also as Senior deputy I find it
difficult to run the fire and take photos etc for the webpage (1 of
the reasons I haven't updated this in a while) if some of you could
take a few photos I would really appreciate it you don't need any
big money photography gear just a 1 or 2 mp digital camera will
suffice,( I only use a 2mp camera with digital zoom a real cheapie)
or even some of the new mobile phones have good enough cameras built
in. Any questions just email me

or speak to me own the station.
