On Wednesday, 19 April 2006, Londonderry Rural Fire Brigade was called out to a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) on Londonderry Rd, near Spencer Rd, Londonderry.
On arrival Londonderry firefighters found as a result of a collision between a Daihatsu Charade and an interstate registered Ford Falcon station wagon towing a greyhound trailer, the Daihatsu had been left percariously perched on a fence.
Londonderry firefighters provided fire cover and oil spill cleanup at this incident.
Fortunately no serious injuries were sustained by either the occupants of the vehicles or by the greyhounds travelling in the trailer.
